Game-breaking Warzone Sniper Rifle one-shots players to the chest
Warzone pro IceManIsaac has revealed that a Vanguard Sniper Rifle has the game-breaking ability to one-shot a 300HP player in the chest.
Warzone’s Kar98k and Swiss K31 have dominated the game for the majority of its lifecycle, but that all changed with the Season 3 update. Only a handful of Sniper Rifles can one-shot to the head at any range, completely changing the meta.
But there’s one broken Sniper Rifle that everyone’s going to be using until it’s fixed, as it has the ability to one-shot a player with full health and armor just by hitting their chest.
Using the website Sym.GG, Warzone pro and streamer IceManIsaac revealed that it’s Vanguard’s Type 99 that can one-shot players in the chest. With the right attachments, the 3-Line Rifle deals 300 HP to both the head and chest — enough damage to one-shot a full health player.
The Type 99 was hit by Warzone Pacific Season 3’s Sniper Rifle nerfs, so it can only one-shot headshot within 44 meters. However, it can also kill a full-health player with a shot to the chest within 44 meters too, making it completely game-breaking.
Sniper Rifles are balanced by players needing to be extremely accurate to hit that headshot and get the one-shot kill, but the Type 99’s ability to one-shot to the body completely removes this skill gap. Thanks to this, Isaac compares the Type 99 to a “one-shot Shotgun.”
It’s highly unlikely that the Type 99 is behaving as intended, so we expect it to be at the top of Raven Software’s priorities.

IceManIsaac built this Type 99 to take advantage of that one-shot body shot, increasing its range and mobility to make it effective in all situations.
Combining the Shiraishi 712mm Sniper barrel, the 8mm Klauser 5 Round Mags, and the Vital Perk gives it this 300 HP chest shot. Feel free to change any of the other attachments, but ensure you have those three if you want to one-shot enemies in the chest.
