Fortnite Season 6 leak could see Dinosaurs added
New Fortnite Season 6 leak points to the addition of Dinosaurs arriving in a future update.
Fortnite now has rumors pointing to prehistoric additions to the map, in the form of Dinosaurs. With the dawn of Season 6, players have been digging through the files of the game and have recently located references to Raptors and Dinosaur eggs.
In a Tweet from popular Fortnite leaker FortTory, he disclosed his findings from the games internal code. Inside, he found strings of code relating to eliminating and being killed by Raptors.
This could point to a possible Jurassic Park crossover, or maybe a prehistoric themed area on the map in a future update.
Additionally, there is also an egg in the files, which relates to wildlife on the map. We can assume the Raptors will be part of the new animals across the map, so these eggs will most likely be the spawn location for them.
It’s possible that the Raptors will hatch automatically from the eggs, or perhaps Epic is taking a tactical approach, allowing players to trigger the spawn of the wildlife by shooting the eggs. Regardless, we’d love to see the mechanic added into the game as a fun little extra.
Of course, with any leak, take this all with a grain of salt. It could be some time before we see any of these assets used in-game, and they very well could be used for other purposes if the development team decides to take another approach on their plans.
If these assets are not changed, we think there’s a good shot we’ll see them in a few weeks to go with the new primal theme of Season 6. We’ll update you if we hear any new information.
