Fortnite Peacemaker skin: Release date rumors & leaks
Epic Games might be planning to add the popular DC Comics character Peacemaker to Fortnite Chapter 3, and here’s everything we know about his arrival, including the possible release date and all leaks.
Fortnite has become known for its various crossovers that have added popular fictional characters like Spider-Man along with real-life celebrities such as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as unlockable skins.
Now, it seems that Epic Games are set to bring another major crossover for players to enjoy in Fortnite Chapter 3, as the DC character Peacemaker could be making his debut in the battle royale.
Here’s everything we know about his arrival.
Is Peacemaker confirmed for Fortnite?
On August 22, 2021, Fortnite data miner ‘ShiinaBR’ tweeted that John Cena’s Peacemaker might be arriving as a new skin in the battle royale to tie in with the Peacemaker HBO Max series.
While this hasn’t been confirmed by Epic Games themselves, this rumor came from the same Reddit insider who privately leaked the Bloodsport collab before its announcement, we might see Peacemaker arrive soon enough.
The first season of the James Gunn-helmed spin-off show ended on February 17, so it’s unclear when exactly the developers are planning to add the titular character to the battle royale title.
On February 16, one of Cena’s Instagram posts showcased a Fortnite Chapter 3 cinematic, seemingly teasing his arrival in the game, and commenters began wondering if he’ll be joining as Peacemaker.
This wouldn’t be the first time a major celebrity has teased their inclusion in the battle royale, as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson previously teased his addition to Fortnite ahead of his arrival as The Foundation.
At the time of writing, this is all purely speculation, and you should take this information with a grain of salt until the developers officially confirm that Peacemaker will indeed be making his way to Fortnite.
However, it wouldn’t be surprising if he does arrive in the game in the near future, as Epic Games have previously added other popular DC characters like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman as new skins.
Fortnite Peacemaker skin release date rumors
At the time of writing, no official release date has been confirmed for the Fortnite Peacemaker skin, and while it was believed it would release alongside the first season of the show, that didn’t end up being the case.
However, the tease from John Cena’s Instagram posts suggests that Peacemaker might be making his arrival in the near future, and we’ll be sure to update you as soon as more information becomes available.
