Epic Games are looking to expand their unbelievable array of licensed skins to include some of anime’s biggest names, such as Naruto and Dragon Ball Z, according to a Fortnite leaker.

Fortnite’s popularity and incredible success over the last few years have no doubt had an influence on the AAA names they’ve been able to acquire official licenses for.

The trend of acquiring notable names from video games and films really kickstarted with Season 5 as The Mandalorian, Kratos, The Terminator, and a lot more arrived in the game. Fortnite has kicked on since then, and this new leak suggests that even more is to come.

A Fortnite Dataminer by the name of Twea has said that a “trusted source” is the one to confirm the anime collaborations that are currently in the works.

The full Tweet reads, “A trusted source has stated that Epic are working with a company named Shueisha to produce a few anime collabs. The company has partial rights to many large animes including Naruto and Dragon Ball.”

Season 6 of the influential battle royale game featured a few generic anime skins, but this would be a significant upgrade to see the likes of legendary characters such as Goku and Naruto.
