Fortnite is no stranger to epic crossovers, and Season 8 has seen its fair share of familiar faces. According to a new leak, fellow gaming giant League of Legends will be the next property making its way to the island.

Fortnite Season 8 has brought some huge crossovers to the battle royale, from Resident Evil’s Chris Redfield to characters from sci-fi blockbuster Dune.

With Season 9 approaching fast, the new skins are showing no signs of slowing down as the long-awaited Naruto skin could also finally be on the way.

Even more excitingly, if a new leak is to be believed, gaming icon League of Legends is also heading to Fortnite very soon.

This latest news comes from well-known Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR on Twitter, who claimed that the popular LoL champion and villain Jinx is the next new face to join the island.

The leaker didn’t specify an exact date for when Jinx will be added to the game, although they did say it would be “next week” in their tweet on October 30.

It’s a collaboration that would line up with the release of the League of Legends Netflix series Arcane, which is due out on the streaming service on Saturday, November 6, 2021, so expect the skin to drop sometime around then.

Jinx is set to play a starring role in the new show, voiced by Ella Purnell from Army of the Dead, so it makes sense for her to make the jump across video game universes.

It remains to be seen whether this latest crossover will be a bundle to buy from the in-game store, or whether or not Jinx will play a bigger role on the Fortnite island.

Collaborations like this in the past have occasionally come with themed Quests to complete and new locations to discover.

Fans of the ridiculously popular MOBA will be hoping that even more League of Legends characters, such as Lux or Ezreal, can join the party in the future.
