FIFA 23 players can track upgrades for their RTTF cards as football’s biggest European competitions come to a close. Here’s how to track Road to the Final upgrades in Ultimate Team.

FIFA 23 promos continuously spice up Ultimate Team content. At the moment, Team of the Season is taking center stage. Despite the focus on TOTS, players are still interested in tracking upgrades for previous promos like Road to the Final.

The classic RTTF promo was one of Ultimate Team’s most thrilling as it highlighted the best teams remaining in Europe’s top competitions and brought live cards to Ultimate Team. Here’s an overview of the RTTF upgrades players can track in FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 Road to the Final upgrade tracker

FIFA 23 RTTF cards are sought-after items with major boosts that remain hard to ignore. Therefore, Ultimate Team fans will look to purchase RTTF players in the hopes that they could secure a few upgrades.

The value of FIFA 23 RTTF cards will fluctuate greatly depending on their potential upgrades. The Champions League final is set for June 10 between Inter Milan and Manchester City, while Sevilla defeated Roma on May 31 to claim yet another Europa League trophy.

FIFA 23 RTTF upgrades explained

FIFA 23’s RTTF upgrade path is similar to FIFA 22’s.

The FIFA 23 RTTF promo handed out a +1 upgrade for every stage that the player manages to qualify for in their respective European competition.

In addition, new traits, weak foot, and skill move upgrades were unlocked along the way.

Here’s an overview of the FIFA 23 RTTF upgrade path with the dates you can expect to see the upgrades go live in-game:

Win 1st knockout game after campaign launch *Champions League only: +1 (February 24)
Qualify for the Round of 16 *Europa + Conference League only: +1 (February 24)
Qualify for Quarter Finals: +1 (March 17)
Qualify for Semi Finals: +1 & new traits (April 21)
Qualify for Finals: 5 Star weak foot upgrade (May 19)
Win the Final: +1 & 5 Star skill move upgrade (June 12)

EA clarified that: “If a Player Item already has 5*WF and they reach the Final, they’ll receive a +1 In-Form Upgrade instead. Similarly, if a Player Item already has 5*SM and their club wins the Final, they’ll receive an additional +1 In-Form Upgrade instead.”

You’ll also want to keep in mind that a +1 upgrade doesn’t always allude to a +1 rating increase. Players will receive a +1 increase based on EA’s upgrade system. Therefore a +1IF upgrade would boost an 86-rated card to 88.
