FIFA 23 Cover Star Icons start date
EA SportsThe first of the FIFA 23 Cover Star Icons arrived on July 28, 2023. While EA look to celebrate FIFA’s rich history, Cover Icons is not deemed to be a new promo. Instead, new Cover Star Icons will be added to FIFA 23 via SBC periodically from July 28.
FIFA 23 Cover Star Icons explained
FIFA 23 Cover Star Icons are heavily boosted cards handed out to the Icons who have previously appeared on the cover of a FIFA game.
This will be a celebration of the series’ history before the EA FC rebrand takes place. As of now, it seems like Cover Star Icons will only be available via SBC, but we’ll let you know if they make their way to packs as well.
FIFA 23 Cover Star Icons revealed so far
So far, only one FIFA 23 Cover Star Icon has been revealed, and it’s none other than Roberto Carlos. Carlos was featured on the cover of FIFA 2003.
