Only two players made it all the way to the end and earned every single upgrade as Argentina hoisted the World Cup trophy.

In FIFA 23, Path to Glory upgrades were linked to World Cup results. Major boosts were up for grabs depending on the World Cup progress of a player’s affiliated nation.

Here are the World Cup Path to Glory upgrades that were up for grabs:

  • Qualify for Group Stages: +1 rating
  • Win Round of 16 match: +1 rating
  • Win Quarter Finals match: 5* Weak Foot upgrade
  • Win Semi Finals match: 5* Skill Moves upgrade
  • Win World Cup Final: +1 rating & 3 new Traits

Path to Glory upgrades provide both an increase in rating, as well as the highly sought-after upgrade to Weak Foot and Skill Moves, which top players love to utilize.

Here is when the upgrades will appear live in-game:

  • Round of 16 upgrades starting from December 3rd.
  • Quarter Final upgrades starting from December 7th.
  • Semi Final upgrades starting from December 12th.
  • Final upgrades starting from December 15th.
  • Winner upgrades starting from December 19th.

Players who already boast 5* Skills Moves or 5* Skills instead received another +1 rating.
