FIFA 23 Ultimate Team pack weight explained
Each Ultimate Team pack has predetermined odds of packing players based on their ratings. This means that looking for FIFA 23’s walkout animations is not the only way to get an early glimpse at your pack. You can also take a look at the pack weight to get an idea of what to expect before opening a pack.
Here are the odds of packing players based on FIFA 23 ratings when opening some of the most popular Ultimate Team packs.
Gold pack odds
- Gold 75+ OVR Player: 100%
- Gold 82+ OVR Player: 7.7%
- Gold 83+ OVR Player: 3.5%
Premium Gold pack odds

This should cover the most common FIFA 23 Ultimate Team packs that you’ll run into. Keep in mind that there are also some incredible promo packs available through rewards and in the store.
EA have confirmed that for certain packs, the odds change depending on promo content: “Live content and new items are added to FUT for the current title on a regular basis, which could change the probability numbers throughout the season. Probabilities are accurate as of the timestamp indicated at the bottom of that screen.”
Unfortunately, it’s difficult to accurately discern the pack weight for these sought-after packs due to the fact that EA alter the odds as different promos appear.
