EA are committed to delivering an exciting slate of FIFA 23 Ultimate Team promos this year and players will have a ton of new content to dissect including Out of Position. Rulebreakers was the first FIFA 23 promo to deliver two squads of special cards, but Out of Position is now in the spotlight.

FIFA 23 Out of Position full team
EA has revealed the entire Team 1 squad of Out of Position. There are some top players involved in the promo including Mohamed Salah, Theo Hernandez, Joao Cancelo, and Reece James.
Check out the entire team and their position changes below:
- Mohamed Salah – LW → ST or LW, CF
- Joao Cancelo – LB → CM or CDM, RWB
- Reece James – RWB → RW or RM, ST
- Theo Hernandez – LB → LW or LM, RW, ST
- Seko Fofana – CM → CB or CDM, LB
- Fred – CM → LM or LW, CF
- Ivan Perisic – LM → CAM or RB, RM, RW
- Denzel Dumfries – RWB → CB or CDM
- Noussair Mazraoui – RB → RM or RW
- Suso – RW → CM or CAM, LW
- Isaak Toure – CB → ST or CF
These Out of Position players will open the door to new and unique squad-building opportunities thanks to their changed positions and different preferred foot, weak foot, skill moves, and work rate possibilities.
FIFA 23 Out of Position promo explained
From the name of the promo, it’s easy to see how Out of Position is a new version of FIFA’s Shapeshifters under a revamped name. Shapeshifters in FIFA 22 literally delivered out-of-position players to Ultimate Team.
While each player comes with a position change, many also come with alternate position changes. This further expands on the idea of delivering boosted players out of their traditional positions.
EA also confirmed that “You’ll also find new Out Of Position players released periodically throughout the FUT 23 season.” This is great news as Out of Position players could arrive via SBC or Objective throughout FIFA 23.
FIFA 23 Out of Position release date
FIFA 23‘s Out of Position Ultimate Team promo started on October 28 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM UK.
After leaks teased the new promo, it was confirmed via the Ultimate Team loading screen. It remains to be seen if Out of Position will feature one or two teams, but we’ll have the latest details for you as they’re revealed.
