FIFA 23 FUT Birthday is always a fan-favorite promo, and it’s back again to celebrate the 14-year anniversary of Ultimate Team. Here’s everything you need to know about FIFA 23 FUT Birthday, including all the players in Team 2.

FIFA 23 players have been spoilt when it comes to events in recent weeks. Following the success of Team of the Year, EA Sports have doubled down by bringing Future Stars, Road to the Final, and Fantasy FUT cards to the game.

But not many Ultimate Team events compare to FUT Birthday, so fans will be excited to hear that the annual anniversary celebration is back again.

Here’s everything you need to know about FIFA 23 FUT Birthday, from the start date to the return of Campaign Icons.

FIFA 23 FUT Birthday start & end date

FIFA 23 FUT Birthday got underway on Friday, March 24, 2023. This year’s event will run for two weeks and deliver two squads of players, coming to an end on Friday, April 7, 2023.

FIFA Ultimate Team first launched on March 19, 2009, as part of FIFA 09, so fans were expecting the promo to arrive on March 17. However, the devs revealed the FUT Ballers event instead, pushing FUT Birthday to the following week.

What is FIFA 23 FUT Birthday

As with all promos, FUT Birthday has delivered even more special cards with boosted stats. This year, two separate squads were released, featuring huge names like Vinicius Junior and Nkunku.

Another batch of Campaign Icons will arrive during the promo, allowing fans to earn valuable FUT Birthday Icons from packs and SBCs. These cards have even better stats than the Prime items, so expect them to be extremely rare.

FIFA 22 also added the popular Swaps objectives to FUT Birthday for the first time, and it’s returning again in this year’s game. The Swaps program tasks players with grinding various challenges to earn Tokens, which can then be exchanged for valuable packs or special cards.

Fans can also look forward to a whole lot of daily SBCs to complete and unique packs to buy in the store. Traditionally, this is one of the biggest events of the season, so don’t be surprised to see EA pull out all the stops.
