EA have delivered the brand-new FUT Ballers promo to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, giving fans the chance to earn high-rated cards by completing objectives. Here’s how the Play to Style upgrades work and the FIFA 23 FUT Ballers players so far.
FIFA 23 promos have been coming thick and fast in recent weeks. Road to the Final marked the return of European competitions before Fantasy FUT brought even more live cards to the game.
Now, FUT Birthday has taken over Ultimate Team, but players still have time to unlock FUT Ballers cards from the previous week.

FIFA 23 FUT Ballers end date
FIFA 23 FUT Ballers will end on Friday, March 31, 2023, after arriving on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 6 PM GMT. This was confirmed by an in-game loading screen revealing the event for the first time.
This date was widely expected to be the start of FUT Birthday, as the official anniversary of Ultimate Team falls on March 19. However, it seems that the fan-favorite promo will begin on March 24 instead, with FUT Ballers objectives remaining even after the new event begins.
What is FIFA 23 FUT Ballers?
FIFA 23 FUT Ballers is similar to Showdown Series in the sense that it doesn’t bring a team of special cards into packs like other promos. Instead, the event delivers a host of SBCs and objectives for fans to complete.
Every day, EA will select a popular player and award them with a special FUT Ballers item, which can then be earned by completing a specific set of challenges or submitting a squad that meets certain criteria.
“The FUT Ballers deliver creativity on and off the pitch, either dialing up the flair when the lights are brightest and or dialing up the fashion when the cameras are flashing. These stylish footballers are unmistakably and uniquely themselves, bringing their own swagger to everything they do.”
FIFA 23 FUT Ballers Play to Style upgrades explained
Players who complete SBCs or Objectives to secure base versions of FUT Ballers players will have a chance to upgrade these items via the Play to Style Objectives.
EA explained the new FUT Ballers concept in a blog: “The Play to Style Objective offers the chance to earn upgraded FUT Baller Player Items—complete with creative upgrades like skill moves, dribbling boosts, or new traits—using SBC versions of those same FUT Ballers.”
Players who complete the Play to Style Objective in its entirety will earn a FUT Birthday Team 1 pack.

Plenty of high-rated FIFA 23 FUT Ballers players are expected to arrive with EA delivering new players each day. So far, FIFA 23 fans have received a handful of SBCs to complete, along with objectives to earn their upgraded versions.
