Popular Call of Duty content creator FaZe Jev has shared his opinion on the leaked Modern Warfare 2 KIllstreaks, stating a major issue he has with the system.

Call of Duty fans and players alike are seeing a lot of leaks and new information regarding Modern Warfare 2, including the Multiplayer modes, Perks, and Field Upgrades.

Recent leaks have revealed the potential Killstreaks for Modern Warfare 2, as the game looks to stick with a similar system to Modern Warfare (2019). FaZe Jev has shared his opinion on these leaks, stating that he has a major issue with it.

In a video posted on July 11, FaZe Jev shared his reaction to the Modern Warfare 2 Killstreak leak. The leak revealed five Killstreaks that could be seen upon Modern Warfare 2’s release, including a UAV and “Smoke Airdrop.”

Ultimately, FaZe Jev discussed the pros and cons for both Killstreaks and Scorestreaks, and which system he believes is better. Modern Warfare 2 will use Killstreaks, but FaZe Jev feels the system is becoming “ridiculous,” and may make the game “campy” much like players feel Modern Warfare (2019) was.

Scorestreaks were used in Black Ops Cold War, but as FaZe Jev states in the video, the system in Black Ops Cold War wasn’t great, as players could still gain Scorestreaks after dying.

The aspect FaZe Jev seems to like is that Scorestreaks give players an incentive to play the object and not just camp for kills, suggesting he prefers the system over Killstreaks. Unfortunately, those who favor Scorestreaks will likely have to wait until Call of Duty 2024.

We’ll have to wait and see how Killstreaks affect the pace of Modern Warfare 2, with players getting their first taste of the game through the Multiplayer Beta.
