Warzone 2 Season 2 introduced the new Crossbow Marksman Rifle, and Resurgence guru Ean ‘FaZe Booya’ Chase has shown off an ideal loadout for Ashika Island that’s capable of downing enemies in a single shot.

The Warzone 2 Season 2 update was the biggest to hit the battle royale sequel to date, bringing a host of quality-of-life changes and the new Ashika Island Resurgence map. It also added four new weapons to try out, many of which have become meta options in Warzone 2 like the ISO Hemlock Assault Rifle and KV Broadside Shotgun.

One of the new weapons that hasn’t quite made the same impact is the Crossbow, with many players already feeling that it needs a buff to become a viable gun on Al Mazrah.

However, Warzone 2 expert FaZe Booya has revealed a deadly Crossbow loadout that he believes could dominate Ashika Island in the coming weeks.

One of the biggest criticism of the new Marksman Rifle so far has been its inability to one-shot enemies in most circumstances. Chest or limb shots take at least two shots to down a player, and the Crossbow comes with a long reload time between bolts.

The only way to eliminate an enemy in one shot, with the right loadout, is with a well-placed headshot which can be hard to achieve in the sprawling deserts of Al Mazrah.

But on the more compact, faster-paced Ashika Island, Booya believes the Crossbow has the potential to become a top-tier option in Warzone 2.

FaZe Booya’s “one shot” Warzone 2 Crossbow loadout for Ashika Island

  • Arms: SO Momenti
  • Optic: Schlager 3.4X
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7mw
  • Wire: 28-Strand Cable
  • Bolts: Blastcap 20″ Bolts

Booya began his Crossbow loadout with the SO Momenti arms, offering extra damage and bullet velocity to make the weapon more powerful in mid to long-range fights. He paired this with the 28-Strand Cable, for another useful buff to bolt velocity.

He also added the VLK LZR 7mw for improved ADS and sprint-to-fire speed, allowing you to consistently land the first shot, along with the Schlager 3.4X optic for better magnification.

Finally, he went for the Blastcap 20″ Bolts, as these come with explosive tips to give the Crossbow “one-shot capability.”

With this setup, you’ll be able to quickly dispatch enemies with a single headshot, making the new Marksman Rifle a beast on the more confined streets of Ashika Island. Be sure to give it a spin in your next match.
