It wouldn’t be a Call of Duty game without powerful, highly mobile Sniper Rifles for quickscoping, and top streamer Ean ‘Booya’ Chase has revealed Modern Warfare 2’s best Sniper Rifle and its loadout for easy quickscoping.

Modern Warfare 2 and its 50+ weapons have arrived, allowing players to unlock and master a variety of powerful Assault Rifles, SMG, and Sniper Rifles. While bolt-action Sniper Rifles such as the MCPR-300 and SP-R 208 have been dominating the early game meta, FaZe Booya has discovered another Sniper Rifle that he claims is the best in the game.

Booya used the SP-X 80 while grinding Gold and Platinum camos, and he said that the weapon is his favorite Sniper Rifle “by far,” as well as the best Sniper in the game. He said it’s similar to Modern Warfare and Warzone’s SPR, which was praised for its fast ADS speed and fast bullet velocity.

  • Barrel: 16” ZLR Executor 80 Barrel
  • Laser: Corio LAZ-44 V3
  • Stock: PVZ-890 TAC Stock
  • Grip: Schlager Match Grip

Booya created his SP-X 80 Sniper Rifle purely with aim down sight speed in mind, allowing the weapon to quickscope enemies with ease.

He said that if you’re playing 6v6 then the 16” ZLR Executor 80 Barrel is the best choice as it helps with its ADS speed, but if playing Ground War or Invasion then you might want to pick something that helps with bullet velocity and damage range.

The other attachments, the Corio LAZ-44 V3 Laser, PVZ-890 TAC Stock, and Schlager Match Grip, all help with ADS speed and sprint to fire time. These will hurt the SP-X 80’s recoil control but that stat doesn’t matter with bolt-action Sniper Rifles.
