Warzone 2 expert Ean ‘FaZe Booya’ Chase proves that the best pro player CDL loadouts for Modern Warfare 2 can dominate battle royale matches.

The 2023 Call of Duty League Season is in full swing with players competing for championships in Modern Warfare 2. In previous seasons, the best multiplayer weapons didn’t necessarily find success in the battle royale format but FaZe Booya proves that’s not the case in Warzone 2.

CDL pro players primarily use the TAQ 56 Assault Rifle and the Vaznev 9-k SMG as they fight for points in the standings. In honor of Seth ‘OpTic Scump’ Abner’s retirement, FaZe Booya felt the urge to utilize the CDL’s best weapons in Warzone 2.

FaZe Booya Warzone 2 TAQ-56 & Vaznev-9k CDL loadout

TAQ 56 loadout

  • Barrel: 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel (+0.50 lb, +0.40 in)
  • Muzzle: FJX Fulcrum Pro (+0.80 oz, +0.35 in)
  • Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip (+0.80 oz, +0.40 in)
  • Stock: TV Xline Pro (+4.00 oz, +2.40 in)
  • Rear Grip: Demo Cleanshot Grip (-1.00 oz, -0.45 in)

Vaznev-9k loadout

  • Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum (+0.80 oz, +0.35 in)
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90 (+0.77 oz, -0.40 in)
  • Stock: Otrezat Stock (+4.00 oz, -2.40 in)
  • Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip (-1.00 oz, -0.45 in)

To recreate this CDL pro player loadout in Warzone 2, you’ll need to utilize the Weapon Specialist Perk Package that will allow you to carry both the TAQ-56 and Vaznev.

Booya uses most of the same attachments that CDL pros use in official league matches like the 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel, TV Xline Pro, and Demo Cleanshot Grip on the TAQ 56. However, he also makes adjustments when necessary like adding the FJX Fulcrum Pro for added recoil control that is vital for long-range Warzone 2 gunfights.

Using an Assault Rifle without an Optic attachment may take some getting used to, but the TAQ 56’s iron sight is one of the best in Warzone 2.

When it comes to the Vaznev, Booya believes it’s what truly makes the loadout shine: “This thing absolutely competes with the other SMGs in the game.” The Otrezat Stock, True-Tac Grip, and FSS OLE-V Laser will make the Vaznev as snappy as possible with major boosts to aim down sight speed, sprint to fire speed, sprint speed, and aim walking speed.

These attachments coupled with the superior control that the Bruen Pendulum and FSS Sharkfin 90 bring elevate the SMG to elite status.

If you’re looking to bring a little Call of Duty League flavor to Warzone 2, then Booya’s TAQ 56 and Vaznev loadout combination is the ideal place to start.
