FaZe Booya reveals never-used Warzone Assault Rifle perfect for Rebirth Island

Rebirth Island and Fortune Keep’s smaller size allows Warzone players to dominate with off-meta loadouts, and top streamer Ean ‘FaZe Booya’ Chase found an ignored Assault Rifle that’s perfect for the Resurgence maps following Season 5 buffs.

Despite players claiming Warzone’s meta is “lazy” at the moment, it’s the most open it’s been in the past few weeks. Season 5 brought a ton of buffs and nerfs, so many that some buffed weapons have still gone under the radar.

One of these weapons is the Vargo-S Assault Rifle which, despite having its damage and range increased, still has a low pick rate. However, FaZe Booya showed how devastating it can be on Rebirth Island.

Booya showed off a brand-new Blueprint for the Vargo-S, an Assault Rifle that arrived with Season 4 Reloaded but has never made much of an impact on Warzone’s meta.

When the Vargo-S arrived it didn’t hold a candle to the meta weapons and was quickly disregarded. Raven Software wanted it to be more of a long-range option so they significantly buffed the weapon in Season 5, but it’s still never caught on, having a pick rate of only 0.24 according to WZ Ranked.

However, top Warzone streamer FaZe Booya wanted to try out the weapon, so he took the new Death’s Embrace bundle as an opportunity. It turned out that the Vargo-S was the perfect choice on Rebirth Island, and Booya said it “slaps mid-range” and that he loves it.

In the two matches that he uploaded, Booya managed to drop over 20 kills using the Vargo-S and PPSh-41 together.

FaZe Booya Vargo-S loadout

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel:
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: Mirzoyan Custom SK2
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 50 Round Rums
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
  • Perk: Hardscope
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

Luckily, almost every attachment in The Rapture Blueprint was the meta Vargo-S build, but Booya doesn’t advise players to buy it since it won’t carry over to Warzone 2 later this year. However, you can still make his dominant loadout with the right attachments.

All Booya changed was the Magazine as the default 7.62x54mmR will hurt its bullet velocity and damage range, so isn’t worth using. Plus, the Hatched Grip makes the weapon much more accurate.

Finally, he opted not to use a barrel as they all bring too many negative attributes, so you’re better off not using any.
