Warzone players can choose from over 110 weapons, and Ean ‘FaZe Booya’ Chase has managed to turn an overlooked Modern Warfare AR into a Rebirth Island monster.
Despite receiving two new weapons in Warzone Pacific Season 3, players may want to take a trip to the past to find their next dominant loadout. This is especially true given the poor reception and overall quality of the Nikita AVT and M1916.
Warzone superstar FaZe Booya is known for his Rebirth Island prowess and he’s unveiled a nostalgic AS VAL loadout that kills incredibly quickly. It kills so fast that the pro player was often in disbelief at how shockingly powerful it is.
Throughout Modern Warfare’s game cycle, the AS VAL often dominated multiplayer lobbies with its incredibly fast TTK at close-range. However, except for a brief moment in the spotlight, the weapon never really became a Warzone mainstay due to its small magazine size.
Now, FaZe Booya has discovered that you don’t really need a massive magazine size on Rebirth Island, which has allowed the streamer to build an incredibly powerful Warzone AS VAL loadout.
FaZe Booya AS VAL Warzone loadout
This AS VAL loadout is sure to surprise you but you’ll need to understand that it isn’t meant to be used as a traditional Assault Rifle due to its poor performance at long-range, “it’s not too good at long-range, but medium to close-range you get some surprisingly fast time to kills.”
- Barrel: VLK 200mm Osa
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
- Magazine: SPP 10-R Mags
- Perk: Sleight of Hand
An added perk of using the VAL is that it comes equipped with a suppressor so you don’t have to worry about popping up on the mini map without a muzzle attachment. This loadout relies on the SPP 10-R Mags to take the AS VAL to the next level.
This particular magazine increases the weapon’s damage, movement speed, bullet penetration, and ADS speed, which are all vital qualities to boost on Rebirth Island. The VLK 200 Osa barrel adds to the weapon’s damage range so it can also destroy players from medium distances.
While Booya chooses the VLK 3.0x Optic, the Warzone expert explains that there’s room for adjustments, “honestly you can probably rock like a holo sight as well.” Lastly, Sleight of Hand is a necessary inclusion to make up for the small magazine size.
