The new Apex Legends Collection event will bring various changes to the game’s weapons and characters. Here is every confirmed buff and nerf in the Evolution Collection event patch notes.

Apex Legends Season 10 brought some truly impressive content which ended up winning over fans, as well as getting top streamers like NICKMERCS to switch over for the foreseeable future.

Now, the new Season 10 Collection event will be bringing more changes like a Rampart town takeover and a new Heirloom to the game. The Evolution Collection event patch notes have revealed the planned changes.

Here’s every buff and nerf in Season 10’s Collection event.

All Legend buffs & nerfs in Apex Legends Evolution Collection event

You have a wide selection of colorful and unique characters to choose from when jumping into a match of Apex Legends. Each of these characters is suited to a different playstyle, but a few of them have some problems.

Characters like Rampart have struggled in the game due to various factors, including game-ruining glitches. This new update will focus on buffing these characters while providing nerfs to overpowered Legends.

Rampart

One of the biggest changes is to Rampart’s Ultimate ability, Sheila, which you can now use while you move around. This is because Respawn wanted to give her more mobility in combat.

Here are all the changes to Rampart in the Evolution Collection event:

  • Rampart will now be able to run around with Sheila out, and shoot while walking. The spin up is longer, and she only gets 1 magazine in this mode.
  • Once Sheila is out, you can put it away and pull it back out until you run out of ammo (or hit the cooldown time).
  • At any point, you can still place Sheila down for your teammates to use. Once placed, it has infinite reloads and acts just like the previous version. You cannot pick it back up.

Revenant

Apex Legends' Revenant in shadowform.

This Legend received a major change to his ultimate, the Death Totem. Now, players will be able to spot the totem with greater ease due to increase visibility, similar to Loba’s ult placement.

  • VFX (similar to the pulse on Loba ult placement) added to increase visibility for when a totem is placed nearby.

Octane

Octane's stim

The Evolution Collection event will nerf Octane’s jump pad so that he covers less horizontal distance. His Stim ability is also getting dialed back so that it regenerates less of his health.

  • Reduced jump pad horizontal distance by 10% – 15%.
  • Reduced the rate of Octane’s Stim regen from 1.5 to 1.0 hp/sec.

Bloodhound

Bloodhound’s passive ability will be getting an interesting new buff. Now, when the character communicates crucial clues to teammates in quickchat, they’ll know how long ago this happened.

  • When Bloodhound pings a clue from their passive, it will now show their teammates in quickchat how long ago the event took place

Aside from balancing the characters themselves, Respawn will also introduce a few changes to the various in-game weapons that they use to cause mayhem on the battlefield.

We’ll go over every confirmed weapon buff and nerf in the Apex Legends Evolution Collection event.

Bocek Compound Bow

The Bocek Bow gradually began falling out of player interest after a strong launch, but Respawn is working on a few changes to make it popular again.

The weapon’s draw speed has been nerfed, but buffs have been provided to both the Arrows per brick and Arrows per inventory stack.

  • Draw speed slightly reduced from 0.56 to 0.54
  • Arrows per brick increased from 14 to 16
  • Arrows per inventory stack increased from 28 to 32

Hemlok

There are also a few changes to the Hemlok that will make the weapon more reliable. This includes fixing up the hipfire which was previously reduced a few seasons ago.

  • Reduced hipfire spread
  • Hipfire resets slightly faster

L-Star

L-Star in Fortnite

Although the L-Star has been performing well in Season 10, Respawn feels that the weapon could use a few more balance adjustments. So, the gun will be getting a nerf in the Collection event.

  • Cool-off time slightly increased
  • Overheat lens replacement time slightly increased
  • Rounds before overheat reduced at base and all Energy Magazine tiers
    • Base: 22 to 20
    • White: 24 to 22
    • Blue: 26 to 24
    • Purple/Gold: 28 to 26
  • Arenas price adjustments:
    • Base: 500 to 600
    • Blue: 300 to 250
    • Purple: 400 to 350

Shatter Caps

Respawn is slightly buffing the Shatter Caps Hop-Up so that switching to them feels less punishing. These changes will apply to both the Bocek Bow and the Repeater.

Here are all the Shatter Caps Hop-Up changes:

Bocek

  • Draw speed slightly reduced from 0.56 to 0.54
  • Arrows per brick increased from 14 to 16
  • Arrows per inventory stack increased from 28 to 32

Repeater

  • Damage per pellet increased across all draw strengths
  • Short draw damage: 4 to 6
  • Medium draw: 7 to 9
  • Full draw: 11 to 12

Shotguns

Mozambique in Apex Legends

Both the Mozambique and Eva-8 will be getting slightly nerfed so that players will also be willing to try out other guns in the weapon class. The changes will be to their damage multiplier.

Mozambique & Eva-8

  • EVA-8 and Mozambique headshot damage multiplier reduced from 1.5 to 1.25 bringing it in line with the Peacekeeper and Mastiff.

Triple Take

  • ADS charge time decreased from 1.0 to 0.8
