Ending cutscene for Dead of the Night Zombies map revealed
Main quest for new DLC1 Zombies map, Dead of the Night, has been completed and the cutscene is live.
With the December 11 DLC releases for Black Ops 4, the Zombies mode received a new map, Dead of the Night.
The community was off to the races looking to complete this maps Easter Egg, and under 24 hours, they were able to do just that.
On December 12, Youtuber ‘MrRoflWaffles’ uploaded the entire ending cutscene in full. The video shows the celebrity cast of characters enter a mysterious room right before the Butler (and traitor), Godfrey, kills them all.
Following the three’s death, Scarlett, from IX and Voyage and Despair, arrives to save the day and kills Godfrey herself. She then chases Godfrey’s accomplices in an exciting car chase right before crashing off the road.
Watching the assailants fly off in an airplane, she reads a note from her father directing her to find Bruno, Diego, and Shaw from Black Ops 4’s first two Zombie maps.
The full video can be seen here:
As seen in the video, completing this easter egg also rewards players with the ‘Trial by Ordeal’ silver PlayStation trophy.
Dead of the Night exists in the Chaos story line, separate from the Aether story line which features series mainstays like Tank Dempsey and Edward Richtofen.
This map acts as a prequel to Voyage of Despair, setting players in Allistair Rhodes’ mansion during a night gone horribly wrong.
Players who own the Black Ops Pass can expect three more Zombies experiences to release throughout the next year, however Treyarch has not talked about where in the timeline they will be placed, or what storyline they will be apart of.
