Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree release date
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be released on June 21, 2024. The release date was confirmed through the official gameplay reveal trailer on February 21, 2024.
The expansion will be released alongside Elden Ring’s GOTY edition and a special Collector’s Edition.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree was announced back in February 2023. In the announcement, the devs also confirmed that the DLC will be coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is set in a brand-new location called the Land of Shadow, a place that is bereft of the Erdtree’s golden light. Horrifying creatures of all sorts reside in this area, and it is also home to some dangerous new dungeons.
Players are tasked with following the footsteps of the demigod Miquella, an offspring of Queen Marika, and uncovering the “dark side” of Elden Ring’s story. In line with the darker tone, players can expect a location even more hostile than the Lands Between.
In terms of content, Shadow of the Erdtree will bring new locations, weapons, equipment, enemies, bosses, and more.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is available as a standalone purchase for $34.99. The expansion is also bundled with the game as part of the Collector’s and GOTY edition.
