After discovering the Warzone 2 Birdseye Perk’s strength on stream, Dr Disrespect believes the devs need to nerf it immediately.

Raven Software managed to fix Ultimate Perks in Warzone 2, allowing players to finally experience the true benefits of the Perk Packages. However, despite this seemingly being a win for players, the fix has revealed just how strong the Birdseye Ultimate Perk really is.

Players discovered how to get Birdseye working by picking up a default loadout with the Perk towards the start of Season 1, but now that Ultimate Perks are working, everyone can experience the Perk’s strength.

While playing Warzone 2 on stream, Dr Disrespect decided to try out the Recon Perk Package after ZLaner explained how “broken” Birdseye is, and the results certainly left the 2x Champion surprised.

While experiencing the benefits of the Warzone 2 Birdseye Perk in-game, the Doc said “it is! It is broken, isn’t it?”

The Doc then finds out that there is currently no counter to Birdseye, as ZLaner explains that Ghost doesn’t actually hide players from the Birdseye radar pings.

This leads the streamer to say that the Perk needs to be “immediately fixed,” feeling as if it’s a “broken mechanic,” and that it could possibly be the game’s “worst bug to date.”

Dr Disrespect says that he has experienced “so many scenarios” where he believes this Perk has allowed players to get an unfair advantage over him, feeling as if the advantages gained with the Birdseye Perk “changes the complete dynamic of everything.”

With Warzone 2 Season 2 on the way, it’s likely that Raven Software will be bringing a bunch of changes to the game, and perhaps Birdseye is in their plans.
