Popular streamer Dr Disrespect has openly criticized the new Redeploy Balloons in Warzone Pacific Season 2, claiming that they’re a source of new problems in the game.

Warzone Pacific Season 2 brought a ton of brand-new content for players to enjoy, including powerful weapons like the Whitley LMG and KG M40 Assault Rifle, as well some map changes to Caldera.

Raven Software also introduced Redeploy Balloons to help players traverse the map with ease, and while players have found creative uses for them, The Doc has been less than enthusiastic.

Warzone Pacific Season 2 redeploy balloon

In a recent stream, Dr Disrespect slammed Raven Software’s decision to add Redeployment Balloons in Warzone Pacific Season 2, claiming that it isn’t an “original” concept and creates new problems.

The streamer stated: “This one’s like ‘hey, throw a whole bunch of balloons in there, even though it isn’t our original idea. That way we can get around the f*****g map so you can just land on people.”

Players can use Redeploy Balloons to drop on their opponents by surprise, and Dr Disrespect expressed his frustration with the lack of audio cues when enemies are about to try that tactic in combat.

Reddit user ‘iamtechn0’ clipped the segment of Doc’s stream where he shared his criticisms on Redeploy Balloons, and a few users gave their own thoughts on the new additions in Warzone Pacific Season 2.

While Dr Disrespect isn’t particularly fond of this new addition, many in the Warzone community are enjoying the Redeploy Balloons, which were inspired by Apex Legends’ Jump Towers.

Despite this, a few commenters still agreed with Doc’s perspective, and one user wrote: “They knew that they were lacking in content, so they decided to take Apex Legends’ content.”

At the time of writing, it’s unclear whether Redeploy Balloons will be removed in a future update or if they will become standard in Warzone matches permanently. However, their overwhelming popularity means we might see them in Season 3 as well.
