Streamer Dr Disrespect has explained why he believes Call of Duty: Warzone is the “funnest battle royale out there,” comparing it to another BR giant, Apex Legends.

Streamer Dr Disrespect is no stranger to the battle royale genre, having been playing and streaming the wildly-popular mode since its infancy. Now, in 2021, Warzone, Respawn’s Apex Legends, and Fortnite lead the pack, and Dr Disrespect has explained why he believes Warzone is the best there is.

Doc has been switching between Valorant and Warzone for his YouTube streams, as they offer wildly different shooter experiences. After a viewer claimed that “Warzone is dead and CoD players are hurting,” Dr Disrespect hit back, explaining why Warzone is his favorite battle royale.

“When I go to Warzone I know what I’m going to get,” he explained. “I’m going to get a fix of, probably, the funnest BR out there.”

Dr Disrespect admitted that “Apex is cool,” but “you get everything with Warzone – it’s fast-paced, you know what you’re getting, you’re landing hot, you’re constantly getting engaged. It’s that fix, it’s that experience.”

For a chaotic, “fast-paced” shooter experience, Doc thinks there’s nothing better than Warzone. Then, for a more tactical experience, “Valorant is just a good contrast,” he explained. “I love where we’re at, going back and forth, it’s good getting the full spectrum.”

With Warzone lobbies’ holding more players than other battle royales such as Apex Legends, games are faster-paced than the traditional BR experience. Kill-races have become the popular competitive format, as the game’s action-packed nature allows for it. While playing in a wager match, Aydan and the rest of his squad shattered the World Record for kills, eliminating 162 players in a single match.

With Warzone gearing for a Zombie outbreak in Verdansk, Season 2 is set to get all the more chaotic.
