Dr Disrespect explains how to improve Warzone’s Gulag

Black Ops Cold War’s Season 1 introduced two new Gulags in Warzone, and they make for extremely competitive matches. Dr. Disrespect has come up with a creative idea that could further improve them.

Warzone Season 1 arrived on December 15, and it brought many interesting changes to the battle royale. This includes two new Gulag arenas for you to battle for your spot back in the game. These can be found in Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

The rules for Warzone’s Gulag allow you to come back to life if you win a 1v1 match. You will battle your opponent with a completely random loadout in a 40 seconds long round. This mode is fun to try out, and it turns out that Dr. Disrespect has an interesting idea of how to improve it.

How would Dr. Disrespect change Warzone’s Gulag?

YouTube streamer Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV, more commonly known as Dr Disrespect, came up with a brilliant new suggestion for the game. Rather than being a one time deal, you should have the ability to purchase another Gulag for $20,000.

“I have a multi-million dollar idea that just came to my head, right now, in real-time,” he said. “The ability to buy another Gulag for yourself – costs you $20K”

This would let you come back to life give your opponent a real fight even after you’ve already been to the prison. You can hear this from the man himself in the clip below.

The Doc’s idea is certainly intriguing, as it would greatly change how the Gulag works in-game. He doesn’t elaborate on the possibility that players might purchase a Gulag multiple times, but it would be an interesting change if it were ever implemented.

One potential side effect of this would be a change in the prices of Gulags. They would need to be adjusted in order to make players more competitive, as they battle each other for the chance to purchase one.

This would also increase the duration of the matches. You currently only get 40 seconds to eliminate your enemy in the Gulag. If you’re both still alive when time runs out, “Overtime” will begin and you’ll have 3 seconds to capture a flag.

Dr. Disrepect’s idea for the Gulag has potential drawbacks, but it’s still an interesting concept to consider. We probably we won’t ever see see this change implemented since most players love this mode, but it’s fun to think about how this would change the game.

The two new Gulags in Season One of Black Ops Cold War’s Warzone can be very competitive, so you’ll need to keep a few helpful tips in mind if you want to come out on top.
