Popular streamers Herschel ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm and Timothy ‘TimTheTatman’ John Betar have shared what they think is Modern Warfare 2’s biggest fault.

Call of Duty fans have been enjoying the Modern Warfare 2 beta on all platforms, experiencing the new weapons, maps, and modes while grinding their way to gain the beta rewards.

As well as casual players, streamers and content creators have also been digging their teeth into the Modern Warfare 2 beta, providing feedback to the devs in hopes that they make changes come launch.

Unfortunately, much of the feedback has been dismissed, but Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatman both feel extremely strongly about one feature they claim is the game’s “biggest fault.”

While playing and streaming the Modern Warfare 2 beta together, Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatman shared similar views on the skill-based matchmaking in Modern Warfare 2, also known as SBMM.

Dr Disrespect said “it’s just the one thing that’s outstanding to me in this game that bothers the hell out of me…is SBMM.” The Doc cuts himself off but goes on to say that it’s “ruin(ing)” the game for him.

While the 2x Champ has been criticized and allegedly blacklisted by Activision for his strong opinions on Call of Duty titles over the years, he actually does explain that he thinks “the game feels really good, it looks good.”

Dr Disrespect also states that he likes “the way they’re handling the weapons” and even “for the most part, the map design.” However, the one overarching issue for the streamer is the SBMM, describing it as “horrific.”

While sharing his thoughts on SBMM, TimTheTatman can be heard agreeing with the Doc, saying “it’s terrible man.”

Further, Tim goes on to express more frustrations with SBMM, and while playing the Invasion Ground War mode, the streamer says “it’s unfortunate, but this is the most fun I’m having because there’s no SBMM, SBMM needs to go away.”

It’s unclear if the mode actually has no SBMM, but as there are more players, it’s likely that the overall skill of the lobby is less than that of a 6v6 game mode. It remains to be seen if Activision or Infinity Ward will address SBMM, as it has been a talking point for some years now.

We’ll have to wait until the game officially launches on October 28, but for now, make sure you check out the new Dead Silence feature players have discovered.
