In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can now change the roles that you have previously assigned to the different characters, but to do so you need to craft some specific manuals. Here’s what you need to know about training manuals to change friendship roles.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, there are five types of roles: fishing, mining, gardening, digging, and foraging. Whenever you become friends with a character in-game, you can assign them any of the above-mentioned roles.

Every time they tag along with you to do a specific role they have been assigned, you will get a bonus. With the Festival of Friendship update, you can now change the previously assigned roles and for that, you need to craft five different manuals for each of the roles.

How to change the friendship roles in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To change the friendship roles, first, you need to craft the different manuals with the specific ingredients mentioned below. After that’s done, follow these steps to change their roles in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

Go to the character whose role you want to change.
Interact with them and select the Gift option on the screen and you will be able to see the Manuals.
Give them the Training Manual you want.
Once that’s done, you will see a notification on the screen stating that their role is changed and what their new role is.
To re-assign the role, you need to be at friendship Level 10 with the character.

You can change the assigned friendship role for a character.

How to craft the Fishing Manual in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Gather the following ingredients to craft a Fishing Manual in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

500 Dreamlight
2 Swordfish
5 Bream
10 Herring

You can catch the Herring and Swordfish from Dazzle Beach but for the Bream, travel to the Peaceful Meadow.

How to craft the Digging Manual in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To craft a Fishing Manual in Disney Dreamlight Valley, gather the following items:

5000 Dreamlight
20 Sand
20 Pebble
30 Soil

You can easily find sand and pebbles from Dazzle Beach. To get the Soil, dig anywhere with grass.

How to craft the Foraging Manual in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Collect the following items to craft the Foraging Manual in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

5000 Dreamlight
10 Basil
20 Blueberry
30 Banana

You will find Banana and Blueberry from the Dazzle Beach but for the Basil, go to the Peaceful Meadow.

How to craft the Mining Manual in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Hang out with the villagers who will accompany you with new roles.

To craft a Mining Manual in Disney Dreamlight Valley, gather the following items:

5000 Dreamlight
2 Peridot
2 Topaz
2 Aquamarine

Peridot and Aquamarine can be found at Dazzle Beach. To find Topaz, you need to search the Plaza.

How to craft the Gardening Manual in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Gather the following ingredients to craft a Gardening Manual in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

5000 Dreamlight
20 Carrot
40 Corn
60 Tomato

You can buy Carrot seeds from Goofy’s Stall at the Peaceful Meadow. To get Corn and Tomato, you need to once again buy the seeds from Goofy’s Stall at Dazzle Beach.
