Major Diablo 4 Eternal Realm mistake makes important item useless

If you play in Diablo 4’s Eternal Realm, a simple mistake can completely lock away a Resplendent Spark. Although these items can be farmed, missing out on one will likely force you to grind for hours.

Many tend to test their builds in the Eternal Realm, as characters and their inventories from previous seasons are directly transported there. However, if you defeat Uber Lilith or any Tormented Boss for the first time in the Eternal Realm before Seasonal, you’ll miss out on their Resplendent Spark.

Diablo 4 player ‘Thorvasc1’ learned this the hard way and took to Reddit to warn others of their mistake. “Don’t make the same mistake I did and kill Uber Lilith in the Eternal Realm before the Seasonal,” said the OP. This mishap made them miss out on a seasonal Resplendent Spark, and get a useless one in the Eternal Realm instead.

Resplendent Sparks are one of the most valuable crafting items in the game, as you can use them to make Mythic Uniques. Once you defeat Uber Lilith and Tormented Bosses for the first time in any season, you will get them as rewards.

Of course, you can also take on the Mother’s Gift tiers to get one Resplendent Spark, but that will likely be a long process. Breaking down other Mythic Uniques can be an option too, but no one would want to do that as these items are quite rare.

While what the OP did was a mistake, some believe that such a rule shouldn’t be there in the first place. “Thanks for [the] warning [but] it shouldn’t be like that,” said a player while others even asked them to submit a ticket to Blizzard Customer Support.

“This is why you delete all your characters once a season ends. No need to ever go into Eternal” advised another.

Although deleting characters might not be the best idea for the ones who like experimenting with builds, a simple mistake such as this is enough to make them miss out on one of the most valuable items in the game.
