Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty story

CD Projekt Red released a small gameplay trailer for Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty DLC, but it doesn’t reveal too much about the “spy-thriller expansion.”

In the trailer, the protagonist V takes an oath to “faithfully serve the New United States of America.” Then, Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhand says that taking that oath was a “bad idea.”

Game director Gabriel Amatangelo explained that Phantom Liberty brings “a new style of plot, a new cast of characters expanding on a district in Night City where it primarily takes place.”

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC platforms

It’s no secret that Cyberpunk 2077 had serious trouble on last-gen consoles, and it was confirmed that the Phantom Liberty DLC will only arrive for the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Stadia — leaving last-gen consoles behind.
