Crazy Warzone glitch sends player to the Gulag without dying

CoD: Warzone Gulag bug

A bizarre glitch in CoD: Warzone has sent a player to the Gulag in the middle of his game, without even dying.

Warzone Season 2 seems to be the home of odd-ball glitches, with players’ heads disappearing, and even another glitch just straight up adding an additional player to the 1v1 Gulag.

Now, it seems like another bug has been added to the list of bugs to look out for, and this one is about as random and annoying as they get.

Apparently, in the new Exfiltration game mode, things can get a bit out of control for players out of seemingly nowhere, and you may get sent to the Gulag along with your entire squad for no reason.

In a video posted to Twitter by user @The7thSleeper, we see a highlight of the user’s stream where he is simply flying a helicopter by Airport in-game.

While attempting to land to give his fellow squadmates support, the game instantly cuts off, releasing the player into the gulag without a death.

Dazed and confused, the streamer states “Why am I in the Gulag right now?” before the video cuts off. We can assume this situation must’ve been both confusing and frustrating, as the streamer didn’t even die in-game to be put in this situation.

What we do know is that as the streamer was flying, his two teammates died in a gunfight nearly at the same time.

Perhaps, these two downs somehow confused the game into thinking there was a squad wipe, and the game took the whole squad into the Gulag at the same time.

As far as we’re aware, we’ve only seen this bug occur in the new Exfiltration mode. Since we aren’t aware of the exact conditions that trigger this issue, there is no way to steer clear of this bug happening to you.

Luckily, the odds of this happening seem to be low, so we’d like to bet you won’t run into this often.

If you do run into this bug, be sure to tweet us a clip on Twitter @charlieINTEL so we can take a look.
