Crazy Modern Warfare glitch is giving players free wallhacks
Call of Duty is suffering from another case of wallhacks with 2019’s Modern Warfare the latest victim. Players are benefitting from the glitch by being able to see more of the map than they should be able to.
A year and a half after its release, many players are still keeping the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare community very much alive. Whilst the spotlight is firmly fixed on Treyarch’s Black Ops Cold War and the mega-popular Warzone – Modern Warfare still has its fans.
Aside from the fact that unlocking Gold, Platinum, Damascus, and Obsidian skins is far easier and unlocking weapons is also less of a struggle to some, people just enjoy the game and its maps. But just like Cold War and Warzone, Modern Warfare is guilty of glitches and wallhacks too.
For whatever reason, Call of Duty games sometimes struggle to load in maps in their entirety due to memory problems or just simple glitches.
Therefore we get examples of wallhacks like shane75776 experienced. In their gameplay footage, we saw a blatant case of the game not loading in and exposing half of the map.
The player ran through the incomplete map and started to be shot at. Thinking fast, shane75776 hid behind what would ordinarily be an object, as evidenced by the map, and was able to see the enemy player chasing them through the map’s walls.
This allowed them to jump out already firing and score an easy and relatively unopposed win in their 1v1 encounter.
In the Reddit post, our user said, “I’ve only had this happen once. The only difference was that it took me like a whole minute to load into the match. My friends were already playing while I was still stuck on the loading screen. Normally it takes me less than 10 seconds to be loaded in. Something must have broken during that long load.”
So it seems to be a completely random occurrence that can cause your game to glitch upon entry into a match. Whether or not a recent update to Modern Warfare has caused this is unconfirmed, but it’s something that will add unnecessary advantages and disadvantages to games of CoD.
