Quite a few Black Ops Cold War players have made their feelings known in wanting Treyarch to put aside the Black Ops II love, and remake Black Ops I’s Havana map.

As well as creating new environments such as Yamantau, The Pines, Diesel amongst other maps, Treyarch has also brought back quite a few maps from previous titles. Eagle-eyed players will notice that the maps have all been remakes of Black Ops II maps – with only Nuketown from the first game.

However, Cold War fans would love to see this approach change in a future update by remaking a classic Black Ops I map – Havana.

In our own personal list of maps we wanted to see return in Black Ops Cold War, we singled out Havana as a strong, potential candidate.

It seems that other players have agreed with Reddit user DogeJonkins also laying claim to Cold War needing the map.

“I really want this map to be remade,” they said, with the main menu picture of the map attached to the post.

One user alluded to the fact that Treyarch has concentrated on remaking maps from one game: “If we have to have remakes instead of original content, at least have it not be BO2 (Black Ops II).”

With Season 4’s Reloaded update starting to age, it’s getting close to the point where we can start speculating on potential content for Cold War Season 5. Treyarch will surely have a surprise or two left up their sleeves as we close in on Call of Duty: Vanguard 2021.
