An interesting Tweet from Cold War devs Treyarch has got fans wondering what weapon balancing changes we can expect to see as the latest Call of Duty game approaches Season 3 Reloaded.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has done a pretty good job of having a well-balanced set of guns without the same one or two being prominent in every loadout. Regardless, Treyarch has still done its utmost to maintain a consistent balance throughout the game’s lifespan, and it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

A recent Tweet has indicated that another batch of weapon changes are on the way in a bid to keep the game’s selection of weapon fresh and viable. This will include “Sniper Rifles, Assault Rifles, LMGs, and Pistols.”

With Season 3 Reloaded on the horizon for both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, a few changes and additions are expected to arrive for both games.

Cold War should hopefully be receiving its long-awaited mini battle royale mode, the Standoff map, and both games have been enjoying some nice publicity because of the acquisition of Rambo and John McClane as in-game skins.

We know for definite that along with the aforementioned weapon changes, we will also see updates for Zombies amongst other things.

It’s interesting to note that SMGs will remain untouched, meaning that powerhouses such as the LC10 and PPSH-41 will continue to operate at their normal capacity.

But the other classes will have to hold their breath and see what Treyarch has planned for them. They could be buffed, nerfed, or a healthy mixture of both.

A big detail that’s been noticed by many is the “Sniper Rifles” adjustment tease, as we could see one or the other of the Swiss K31 being turned into a potent one-hit machine and even the fixing of Sniper glint.
