One of the originators of the tight, action-packed map is headed for CoD: Mobile Season 2, as confirmed by the game’s devs.

Did you even play Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare unless you strapped yourself in for a hectic game of Shipment? With constant waves of Air Strikes and Attack Helicopters, Shipment was always a map that went a million miles an hour, and then some.

Well, thanks to a tweet from the game’s official Twitter page, we have confirmation that the map is set to go one more round in Season 2 of CoD: Mobile.

We’ve been drip-fed new CoD: Mobile Season 2 information by Activision every once in a while, and it’s most certainly exciting times ahead for regular players.

It’s already common knowledge that Shoot House is on its way as a new map, there will be fresh weapons to use, and there are even hints of an Among Us-style game mode.

The news of Shipment though will certainly appease veteran Call of Duty players as the lineage of the map has transcended all expectations and featured in multiple CoD games since its original release.

In the Official tweet, we get a brief overview of the map and it certainly appears to be a faithful recreation of Modern Warfare 2019’s interpretation of the map. No grass, brightly-colored containers, and backdrop cranes all make up the scenery of a modern-looking Shipment.

Season 2 is expected to start very soon, so it’s still possible that between now and then we find out even more details about what we can expect.

If all this content wasn’t enough, it seems that CoD: Mobile’s already staggering array of game modes and maps could be set for a huge bonus with the possible addition of Warzone’s Verdansk map.
