With Warzone 2.0 on the horizon, Call of Duty fans have revealed one of the most important changes that are needed for it to succeed.

Warzone is coming to the end of its lifespan, and while the upcoming Season 5 update is looking to give the incredibly successful BR a great send-off, players are hungry for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

While not a lot is actually known about Warzone 2, players, of course, have their recommendations and suggestions for the game. Most of these Warzone 2 wants are based on the player’s experiences with the first installment.

Lag and performance issues have been a dominant topic of player frustrations when it comes to problems with Warzone. Just recently, players had found a glitch with the ping system, which was causing very poor performance.

Now, Reddit user juicemtl has highlighted the latency issue in Warzone, saying that it “needs to stop if WZ2 wants to be successful.”

The user expands on his opinion in the comments, saying “I don’t care how good of a game WZ2 will be, if they can’t figure out a way to have the game run smoothly and if packet burst and bad servers are going to be the norm, the game will fail.”

Players in the comments of the Reddit post share similar experiences when it comes to lag and this error symbol in Warzone, with one Redditor saying “everytime that s*** pops up I lag lmao.”

While many seem to have experienced the problem, some feel that Warzone 2 will be successful regardless of server issues, as Warzone has done well even with them: “You’re joking right? If that was the case WZ would’ve failed a long time ago.”

We’ll have to wait and see how people receive Warzone 2 when it officially launches. With Modern Warfare 2 on the way and the Call of Duty Next event soon to come, it may not be long until we get our first look at the sequel to Warzone.
