Redfall is the brand-new shooter from Dishonored developers Arkane Studios, dropping players into the titular town infested with vampires. Over the course of the main story, fans will unlock powerful abilities and weapons to help them deal with increasingly dangerous enemies.

Since its first reveal, Redfall has been billed as a game that excels as a co-op experience, benefitting from its release on Xbox Game Pass and full crossplay support. But what does that mean for those who want to enjoy Redfall by themselves?

Can you play Redfall solo?

Redfall can be played solo from start to finish, there is no requirement to team up with other players if you don’t want to. Single-player users will have access to the exact same variety of quests, weapons, and skills as those who bring friends along.

Despite being built around co-op, players don’t have to search for randoms if they don’t have a full squad of four. The devs wanted to ensure that Redfall is still an enjoyable story even when tackling its trials solo.
