Fortnite’s new Creative 2.0 mode is extremely impressive, allowing fans to make and play incredible user-created maps with the power of Unreal Editor. That said, can you access Creative 2.0 on the console version of Fortnite?

Epic Games have officially released their impressive Creative 2.0 mode for Fortnite, which utilizes Unreal Editor for the game. In Fortnite Creative 2.0, players can experience an enhanced version of the original Creative mode, as designs are now pretty much limitless.

Players can use Unreal Editor for Fortnite to create Islands that don’t even look like Fortnite, with incredible graphics and the potential to literally design, develop, and publish games inside Fortnite.

While this all sounds extremely exciting, a large percentage of the Fortnite community plays on console, leaving PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo users wondering whether they can use Fortnite Creative 2.0.

Is Fortnite Creative 2.0 on PlayStation & Xbox?

Unfortunately, Fortnite Creative 2.0 is unavailable for console players on PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo, as the mode is currently exclusive to PC, and the same goes for the Unreal Editor for Fortnite.

That said, there is definitely a chance that Creative 2.0 will eventually make its way to consoles so that players can experience these Unreal Editor-made Islands. Epic have previously brought updates and new content seen on PC to console after some time. So while PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and Mac users may have to wait a while, the feature will likely arrive at a later date.

When Creative 2.0 drops for Fortnite on console, we will be sure to update this piece with all of the relevant information so stay tuned.
