Will your Double XP Tokens carry over to Black Ops 6?

If you’re like me, you’ll have loads of Double XP Tokens saved up in MW3, so you’ll be wondering whether to use them all now or wait for Black Ops 6’s launch.

Here’s everything we know about whether you will keep your Double XP Tokens from MW3 in Black Ops 6 and its Warzone integration.

Will Double XP Tokens sync across MW3 & Black Ops 6?

We don’t yet have official confirmation, but the likely answer is no, Black Ops 6’s launch will probably reset your Double XP Tokens.

We can assume this will be the case since Black Ops 6 will be a completely new CoD title that’s separate from MW2 and MW3. The previous two games shared guns, cosmetic inventories, and other content via the Carry Forward feature, but Treyarch confirmed this won’t be the case for BO6.

Black Ops 6 will provide a completely separate multiplayer experience from MW3.

MW2 and MW3 were the first CoD titles to share Double XP Tokens, so with Black Ops 6 resetting player inventories, we don’t expect them to carry over.

Those who haven’t played MW3 would be at a disadvantage in BO6 if XP tokens carried over, so it makes more sense to put everyone on a level playing field, especially as some have accumulated quite a collection.

Will Double XP Tokens carry over to Warzone after Black Ops 6 integration?

Black Ops 6 will likely have its own separate token inventory, while Warzone will include all the tokens accumulated through MW2, MW3, and BO6. If the slate gets wiped clean with Warzone Season 1, players would lose the Double XP they paid for and earned through the Battle Passes.

Warzone’s Black Ops 6 integration is set to be detailed at August 28’s CoD Next event, so we’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
