How to watch $1.2m World Series of Warzone 2023 tournament: Dates, format & more

The World Series of Warzone is an extremely popular competitive tournament that has made its return in Warzone 2, and we’ll break down everything you need to know about the World Series of Warzone 2023.
Warzone 2 hadn’t featured much of a competitive scene since it launched in 2022, but that changed with the arrival of Ranked Play in the Season 3 Reloaded update and the return of the World Series of Warzone.
WSOW attracted a number of Call of Duty’s biggest names during its original run on Verdansk and Caldera. Now, the best players from around the world are competing against each other for a whopping $1.2 million prize pool in Warzone 2.

How to watch World Series of Warzone 2023
Each final in the World Series of Warzone 2023 will be streamed live on the official Call of Duty Twitch channel so you can catch the action there. You can also check out the streams of participating players in the tournament.
A few of your favorite players may stream the event on Twitch or YouTube, so you simply need to head there in order to check out the World Series of Warzone 2023 matches.
World Series of Warzone 2023 schedule
Stage 1 of the World Series of Warzone 2023 began on April 28 with the In-Game Open and is scheduled to conclude in July. These dates were confirmed by the developers in an official announcement on April 6, 2023.
While the Qualifiers were postponed due to server issues, the developers have now confirmed that the event will resume on May 31 with the finals will taking place on June 7 in North America and June 8 in Europe.
WSOW Stage II is set for June and July with the Last Chance Qualifiers taking place in late July. The Global Final of the World Series of Warzone 2023 event is scheduled for September 2023.

World Series of Warzone 2023 format
The World Series of Warzone 2023 event starts with trios going through an in-game open in which their score is determined by their 10 best scoring matches in the WSOW scoring system.

In this event, the rules forbid turreted vehicles as well as the Heavy Chopper that is new in Season 3. There will also be no in-match events such as Fire Sales, Jailbreaks, or the Champion’s Quest.
The top 50 trios for each region get to progress to the WSOW Stage 1 Qualifiers. From there, 25 then advance to the Regional Finals. Activision also brings in 25 teams to the Stage 1 Regional Finals.
Only 25 teams from the Stage 1 Regional Finals are able to qualify for the Regional Finals, while the rest are sent to the Stage 2 Qualifiers. 20 NA Trios, 20 EU Trios, and teams from other nations will enter the Global Final in September to win a $600,000 prize.

World Series of Warzone past winners
The WSOW first arrived in 2021 during the Verdanks days of the original Warzone, and plenty of different teams and players have managed to scoop their share of the hefty prize pools.
These teams are made up of a mix of well-known content creators, such as TimTheTatman or FaZe Swagg, CDL pros, and the top-ranked amateur players who make the cut through the Open Qualifiers.
