Warzone invisibility glitch returns in Season 5 Reloaded

Warzone players hopping into Season 5 Reloaded are furious as the infamous invisibility glitch has returned and is hiding enemies during matches again.

Before the November 16 arrival of Warzone 2.0, Call of Duty players are checking out the final chapter of Warzone Pacific, and there’s plenty of fun to be had following the Season 5 Reloaded update.

However, the final season of the popular Call of Duty title has not been free of problems, as there have been reports of the controversial invisibility glitch making its return to Warzone again.

Reddit user ‘V_I_N_E_S’ shared a clip in the Warzone Pacific subreddit, and it showcased them getting into a gunfight with an enemy player that was completely invisible except for their shadow.

When the Redditor first saw the shadow, they assumed the enemy was just around the corner and waited for them to appear. However, they were surprised when bullets started coming at them from thin air.

Since the enemy was invisible, V_I_N_E_S didn’t have a chance to retaliate in time and ended up being eliminated. A few of the commenters claimed to have experienced similar issues in recent matches.

One user commented: “Been happening for months now… nobody believed me when I said it because I don’t record my play and people assumed I was making up excuses.”

This glitch has appeared in the game multiple times before, and Raven Software patched it up in updates. Whenever it pops up, it gives certain players an unfair advantage since their opponents can’t spot them during gunfights.

Another player explained: “I remember many games where I watch the final chopper cutscene and the players are just invisible. I 50-50 hoped it was just the cutscene but wasn’t sure how crazy the hackers had got.”

One player in the thread described the game as “broken” because of the glitch, and it remains to be seen if this glitch will continue to be an issue in Warzone 2.0 after that game’s release.
