Hacking is one of the biggest issues facing Call of Duty: Warzone and developer Raven Software recently confirmed to the community that more information regarding their work combating hacking would be coming soon.

While Call of Duty: Warzone has been one of the most popular games in the world since it was released in 2020, there is no denying that the game’s lack of anti-cheat and communication regarding how it plans to combat this frustrating issue for the community has been a major problem in the eyes of players.

However, on August 11, 2021, Warzone development studio Raven Software updated the Warzone community that more information regarding anti-cheat will be made available soon.

Season 5 is set to launch soon for Warzone, and it will be bringing new content for players to enjoy.

Unfortunately, the prevalent hacking that has been plaguing the Call of Duty battle royale has been more of a topic of interest for plenty of players, as the community has been hoping to hear some form of communication regarding what Raven Software has planned to implement an anti-cheat to get rid of the hacking problem.

Players received the first bit of this communication on August 11 when Raven Software announced on its official Twitter account that it had banned another 50,000 accounts for hacking and cheating.

Raven also stated that it was “listening and hard at work behind the scenes.” The announcement ended with Raven Software confirming more information regarding its plans to combat hackers is coming soon.

It remains to be seen what Raven Software will reveal in the future regarding its plans for anti-cheat, but the Call of Duty: Warzone community at least knows that some form of more detailed communication is scheduled to arrive at some point that will hopefully provide a solution that will stop Warzone’s hacking issue.

In addition to Raven’s banning of accounts, Activision was able to take down cheat provider CrazyAim recently in another effort to stop Warzone’s hacking issue.
