Warzone 2 expert reveals underrated rifle “perfect” for Ashika Island after major buffs

With Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded in full effect, Call of Duty expert WhosImmortal has highlighted an underrated weapon that is ideal for taking out players on Ashika Island after it received buffs in the update.

The Season 3 Reloaded update brought a plethora of changes to Warzone 2, with many weapons receiving major buffs and nerfs as well as brand-new weapons like the GS Magna and FTAC Siege arriving in the Call of Duty title.

These changes have impacted the game’s meta, and players are wondering which weapons are the best ones to use following the Season 3 Reloaded update. Warzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has showcased one gun that’s worth trying.

According to WZRanked, the SO-14 Battle Rifle currently has a low pick rate of 0.1%. While it’s far from one of the most popular weapons in the game, WhosImmortal claims that it’s the “perfect” choice for Ashika Island after it was buffed in Season 3 Reloaded.

WhosImmortal explained: “You put this thing on full-auto mode then you are going to shred. Especially here on Ashika Island where the guns are a lot more mid-ranged based.” He then revealed his loadout for the SO-14.

Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip
Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity
Magazine: 50 Round Drum
Optic: Aim OP-V4

Using the SO-14 in full-auto mode increases recoil, so WhosImmortal equips the Sakin Tread-40 muzzle and Edge-47 Grip to bring it under control. Once that’s done, you can use the Aim OP-V4 optic to pick off distant foes with great accuracy.

Coming to the choice of ammunition, the 50 Round Drum grants enough ammo to take out multiple enemies before having to reload. Finally, the 7.62 High Velocity rounds buff bullet velocity so that you can shred through foes.

The Season 3 Reloaded update buffed the SO-14’s minimum armor damage, lower torso multiplier, minimum armor damage, and maximum damage. So, be sure to try this powerful Battle Rifle out in Warzone 2.
