How to unlock the UGM-8 LMG in Warzone & Vanguard Season 4
Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 4 arrives on June 22, bringing brand-new weapons with it. Here’s how to unlock the highly mobile UGM-8 LMG in both Vanguard and Warzone.
Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 4 is almost here, bringing major changes to Caldera, introducing the Fortune’s Keep map, and finally bringing a round-based Zombies map to Vanguard. Like any CoD season, there are new weapons for players to unlock and master.
Season 4 brings the UGM-8 LMG alongside the dual-wielded Marco 5 SMG. Here’s how to get your hands on the highly mobile UGM-8 in Warzone and Vanguard Season 4.
How to unlock UGM-8 LMG in Warzone & Vanguard
Warzone and Vanguard’s newest LMG, the UGM-8, is unlocked at tier 31 of the Season 4 Battle Pass. This is considered a free tier meaning all players will unlock the UGM-8 at tier 31 of the Season 4 Battle Pass.

Once you’ve got your hands on the UGM-8, you can use the upcoming Double XP event to fly through weapon levels and unlock all the attachments. But if you don’t manage to unlock the UGM-8 during Season 4, it’ll be available in Season 5 through an LMG-based unlock challenge.
The UGM is described as a “High fire rate, mobile LMG” that allows players to “keep pace with their teammates while offering suppressive fire.” LMGs have dominated Warzone in the past, so we’ll need to wait and see how it shakes up the meta.

However, the devs warned that the UGM’s high fire rate means that it’ll burn through ammo quick, so they recommend using Fully Loaded or the Scavenger Perk to keep topped up.
