FaZe Booya’s classic Cold War SMG loadout makes Warzone’s Rebirth Island easy
Top Warzone player and FaZe member Ean ‘Booya’ Chase dominates Rebirth Island with a variety of loadouts, and he’s found a classic Cold War SMG that’s the perfect choice ahead of Warzone 2.
Warzone‘s final update is here before Warzone 2 arrives in November, bringing a clean slate with the new Al Mazrah map, Modern Warfare 2 weapons, and new mechanics. The Season 5 Reloaded buffs and nerfs left an open meta ahead of the new game, bringing back some fan favorites.
Black Ops Cold War’s MP5 used to be an extremely dominant weapon in Warzone but became overshadowed by Vanguard’s top SMGs. Now, FaZe Booya has brought the MP5 back to Rebirth Island, and it makes close-range fights easy.
Using the MP5’s high mobility and fast time to kill, Booya finessed his opponents, winning fight after fight. He called the weapon “insane” after dropping a whopping 39 kills for the win and revealed the perfect MP5 class to make Rebirth Island easy.

- Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
- Magazine: STANAG 50 Rnd Drum
- Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap
Booya‘s Cold War MP5 loadout is built almost purely for mobility to get around Rebirth Island quickly, and he also used the Pit Viper Blueprint for the cleaner, half-pipe-shaped iron sights.
The Agency Suppressor boosts the MP5’s damage and range while the STANAG 50 Rnd Drum gives enough bullets to take down plenty of players. He also used the “Serpent Wrap for ADS speed, Raider Stock for that strafe speed,” and the Bruiser Grip for faster movement.
