Warzone’s last major update ahead of November’s Warzone 2 is here, with Season 5 Reloaded bringing a ton of weapon buffs and nerfs. The AMAX has received a major buff and the PPSh-41 has been nerfed, so here’s every buff and nerf in Season 5 Reloaded.

All good things must come to an end, and Raven Software has released the final major update for Warzone as we know it ahead of November 16’s Warzone 2. The Season 5 Reloaded update brings some brand-new weapons alongside a major shakeup to the existing meta.

Fan-favorite Assault Rifles such as the AMAX and FFAR 1 have been buffed once again, with some of the most powerful SMGs such as the PPSh-41 receiving nerfs. Here’s a breakdown of the major buffs and nerfs, with the full list further down.

Assault Rifle buffs & nerfs in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded

Warzone’s Season 5 Reloaded update brought a ton of buffs and nerfs to Assault Rifles, with the CR-56 AMAX, EX1, and FFAR 1 appearing to get the most significant boosts.

The AMAX will now deliver even more damage to the torso at longer ranges, significantly lowering its time-to-kill (TTK). The EX1 has had its base damage increased with several attachments getting boosts as well, and the FFAR 1 has been brought closer to how it was when it was the meta back in the Cold War days.

As for Assault Rifle nerfs, the Automaton will now deal less damage to the neck and lower torso, and the Volk had its ADS movement speed reduced once again.

Plus, almost all of Vanguard’s Assault Rifles have seen a major nerf with the popular SVT-PU Scope 3-6x getting nerfed once again, this time adding 15% more visual recoil.

Major SMG nerfs in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded

Vanguard’s PPSh-41, H4 Blixen, and Armaguerra 43 have been dominating Warzone for weeks but Season 5 Reloaded has brought significant nerfs to these powerful SMGs.

The Armaguerra will now deal much less damage to the head and neck and its 60-round mag has been reduced to holding only 55. The Blixen has seen its lower torso damage reduced as well.

Of course, the PPSh-41 looks to have been hit hardest in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded. Its overall damage has been decreased with the Kovalevskaya 230mm B03P barrel getting a hipfire accuracy reduction and the Nambu 71 Round Mag getting nerfed in almost every single way.

Sniper Rifle buffs & nerfs in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded

Warzone Dragunov nerf

Interestingly, a never-used Sniper Rifle has been given a serious buff in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded.

After being known as the worst Sniper Rifle, if not the worst gun in the game, the Dragunov has been buffed! It’s received major damage buffs across all ranges, with its upper chest damage multiplier being nerfed by a measly 0.5.

The Pelington and Rytec AMR also received some powerful buffs, with the AX-50 now having a slightly faster bullet velocity. But, after dominating the World Series of Warzone, the Gorenko has been nerfed with a couple of small buffs balancing it out.
