The iconic Intervention Sniper Rifle is back in the Warzone 2 Season 3 update, now named the FJX Imperium. Here’s the best loadout for the Intervention in Warzone 2 Season 3, complete with the ideal attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

The Warzone 2 Season 3 update was yet another huge overhaul for the battle royale, bringing a ton of highly requested movement changes, the BlackCell Battle Pass, and a host of new weapons to try out.

Among these new guns is the classic Intervention Sniper Rifle that fans fell in love with back in the original Modern Warfare 2, now named the FJX Imperium. But before you hit the streets of Al Mazrah to try and quickscope like it’s 2009, you’ll need the ideal setup.

Here’s the best Intervention loadout for Warzone 2 Season 3, including the top Perks and Equipment to pair with it.

Best Warzone 2 FJX Imperium Intervention loadout attachments

  • Barrel: Ceros 29″
  • Muzzle: FTAC Reaper
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Optic: SPX-80 6.6x
  • Ammunition: .408 Explosive

Our best Intervention loadout starts with the Ceros 29″ barrel, which grants the Sniper Rifle extra bullet velocity to make it hit harder over longer distances. We paired this with the FTAC Reaper muzzle for another buff to bullet velocity, as well as improved damage range.

Next up is the VLK LZR 7MW, which drastically improves the ADS and sprint-to-fire speed, making it ideal for quickscoping at close to mid-range. While the FJX Imperium’s standard scope is solid enough, we’ve gone for the SPX-80 6.6x to give you more choice when it comes to magnification.

Finally, the key to this setup is the .408 Explosive ammo, which lets the Intervention one-shot fully-plated enemies with a well-placed headshot.

Best Warzone 2 Intervention loadout Perks & Equipment

  • Base Perk 1: Double Time
  • Base Perk 2: Overkill
  • Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
  • Ultimate Perk: Ghost
  • Tactical: Flash Grenade
  • Lethal: Semtex

To make the most of the FJX Imperium in Warzone 2 Season 3, you’ll need the right combination of Perks. We’ve kicked things off with Double Time, allowing you to sprint for longer to quickly move into ideal Sniper spots.

Next up is Overkill, which lets you bring along another primary weapon to deal with close-range encounters, such as the Lachmann Sub or Vaznev-9k. Then, in the Bonus slot, we’ve got Fast Hands, meaning you can switch between weapons almost instantly.

With the sheer number of Killstreaks and the new UAV Towers to worry about, we also recommend running Ghost to keep you off the radar.

When it comes to Equipment, Flash Grenades are perfect for disorientating enemies before moving in for the kill, while Semtex is the ideal way to score a quick kill.

How to unlock the FJX Imperium in Warzone 2

The Intervention, or FJX Imperium, can be unlocked through the Warzone 2 Season 3 Battle Bass by completing Sector C4. Don’t worry though, this is one of the free tiers, so there’s no need to buy that Battle Pass to get hold of the iconic Sniper Rifle.

There’s also the option to upgrade to the BlackCell Battle Pass, which rewards players with tier skips to speed up the grind.

Best Intervention alternatives in Warzone 2

If the Intervention isn’t quite working for you, the Victus XMR is another deadly Sniper Rifles with one-shot capabilities in Warzone 2 Season 3.

On the other hand, if quickscoping is your passion, the SP-X 80 could be the choice for you thanks to its impressive mobility.
