Call of Duty: Vanguard’s release is finally here, and for those who plan to play on Battle.net, we’ve got the recommended PC specs to run the game at high quality, along with the minimum requirements to join the action.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is set to be one of the biggest game releases in 2021, with players hungry to jump into some classic World War II action, along with the new Warzone Pacific Caldera map later this year.

While CoD is predominantly seen as a console title, a significant number of players have switched to PC since the introduction of cross-platform play. While those on PlayStation or Xbox can also be sure their consoles can play the game, those with older PC rigs can be left wondering if their computer will be able to run it.

The good news is that Vanguard’s performance is pretty similar to Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare, so if your PC could run those titles, it’s likely you’ll be able to play Vanguard too.

Check out the full Call of Duty: Vanguard recommended and minimum PC requirements below.

CoD: Vanguard PC minimum requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core i3-4340k // AMD FX-6300
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage Space: 36GB at launch (Multiplayer & Zombies only)
  • Hi-rez Asseys Cache: Up to 32GB
  • Operating System: 64-bit Windows 10 (1909 or later)
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 2GB // AMD Radeon RX 470

For players with older components in their PC, Sledgehammer has confirmed that these are the minimum system requirements.

It’s worth noting that a PC with these specs will not be able to run the game with high-quality graphics, but should still be able to run the game well with options turned down.

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K // AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
  • RAM: 12GB
  • Storage Space: 61GB at launch

  • Operating System: 64-bit Windows 10 (latest Service Pack) / Windows 11 64-bit (latest Service Pack)
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 // AMD Radeon RX 580

If you want to run the game at 60FPS with all options set to high, you will need a PC able to meet Sledgehammer’s recommended specs.

Players will need to find 61GB of room on their drives to install the whole game, although that is much smaller than Warzone or previous releases thanks to “new on-demand texture streaming tech.”

For those who intend to take part in competitive Call of Duty esports tournaments, Sledgehammer has recommended these requirements to ensure that your game runs at high FPS (frames-per-second).

CoD: Vanguard Ultra RTX 4K PC requirements

Players who want to take advantage of their powerful rigs and run the game at 4K resolution, in the highest available quality, will need the above specs in your PC to do so.

You’ll also need a 4K compatible monitor, otherwise, you won’t be able to take full advantage of the quality of your game.

Thankfully, Vanguard should be able to run on most relatively-new gaming PCs, so don’t worry too much if you don’t have the topline graphics cards or processors.
