New report states that an Alpha for Call of Duty: Vanguard has been added to the PlayStation Store database.

The news comes from Twitter account PlayStation Game Size, which constantly checks PlayStation Store’s back end database to see new game files being uploaded.

In a tweet posted by the account, it show cases a “Call of Duty: Vanguard Champion Hill Alpha” listing with a background showcasing a new area/map of the game.

The listing states that the Alpha size is 20GB and is a native PlayStation 5 version.

Call of Duty: Vanguard’s reveal is set for August 19 at 10:30am PT within Warzone as part of the Battle of Verdansk event.

The user who posted the above alpha image does not have any information on a possible release date for the said alpha.

For Modern Warfare (2019) and Black Ops Cold War, Activision hosted a PlayStation only Alpha as part of the partnership with Sony. It seems like that will again happen for Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Previous leaks have indicated that Vanguard will have a separate Open Beta, for all platforms.
