Modern Warfare 2 players praise “fun grind” for seasonal camos & call for more
Modern Warfare 2 players have been enjoying the introduction of seasonal camos following the Season 2 Reloaded update. Many have expressed their desire to see the devs add more seasonal camos that are proving fun to grind.
The Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded update arrived to refresh the game’s content prior to the next major seasonal update. The update provided the usual list of changes including a new map, new modes, and weapon balancing changes.
In addition, the Season 2 Reloaded update also delivered a change to the Path of the Ronin challenge. The Crossbow was removed from the list of rewards as the Path of the Ronin introduced new seasonal camo challenges.
Players who display mastery over the different weapon categories in Modern Warfare 2 could secure the Winds of Ash and Blowing Blossoms camos.
The camos perfectly capture the Japanese theme of Season 2 and players were quick to heap praise on the camo designs and challenges, surprisingly calling the seasonal camo grind “fun.”
The title of a post found on the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit reads: “Please more of these seasonal camos IW.” After the OP finished the seasonal camo grind, they took to Reddit to share their reward and players were quick to heap praise on the new camos.
“Oh damn, that looks a lot cleaner than I thought it would, should probably hurry up and get this before the season ends,” said one player. The Season 2 Battle Pass timer indicates an end date of Wednesday, April 12, 2023, and players are racing to get it done before then.
One player even admitted that if it wasn’t for the above post, they probably wouldn’t have noticed how nice the camo is: “Wasn’t gonna grind it but seeing this makes me want to get it lol I like it.”
The positive reception to the Blowing Blossom design and the concept of seasonal camo challenges have players hopeful that this new addition could be a regular occurrence in the Modern Warfare 2 seasons to come.
