Season 12 of Call of Duty: Mobile begins this week and includes SAS operators Captain Price and Ghost.

Season 12, titled ‘Going Dark,’ is set to launch on November 11.

SAS operators Captain Price and Ghost are coming with the new season, as well as a new Battle Royale Class and Operator Skill.

Hackney Yard from Modern Warfare will also be included. This is the first full-size original map from Modern Warfare added to CoD: Mobile. In previous seasons, Gunfight maps Pine and Gulag showers were added to the game.

It’s expected that CoD: Mobile’s first night map will also come in Season 12. Night maps and modes have been teased for some time. On the CoD: Mobile subreddit, a user asked if there are any plans for night modes being added to multiplayer and battle royale. CoD: Mobile’s official Reddit account responded “yes.”

The teaser for Mobile’s Hackney Yard also showed the sun setting over the map.

The season title ‘Going Dark’ further hints at night modes coming.

A new Battle Royale class called Refitter is being added this season. From the teaser video, we can gather that Refitter drops an Armor Pack for their squad. These armor plates grant additional damage reduction to body shots received. Refitter’s passive ability is called ‘Engineer.’ This slowly repairs and increases the durability of vehicles and armor.

A new Operator Skill is also being added in Season 12. The Ballistic Shield is a “durable, transforming defensive shield with a built-in machine pistol.” Think of it as a riot shield you can shoot out of. The Ballistic Shield was last seen in Black Ops 4, being a specialist weapon exclusive to operator Kerk “Ajax” Rossouw.

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 11 will finish on November 11.
